We have a small community of 31 apartments and the pool doesn't get used that much but these rules are going to make it very difficult. This is what our administrator sent me as President.
Dear President and committee members, as informed last week, the Health Ministry and the Junta had published certain recommendations that we sent you by this way; this weekend it has been published in the BOE the Order SND/414/2020 of the 16th of May establishing the conditions for PHASE 2 and the possibility to make use of the swimming pools since the starting of Phase 2. This Phase is theoretically foreseen to start in our province on the 25th of May. It will have to be considered the usual opening dates of the swimming pool and the advisable for this season.

- Limitation of the capacity down to a 30% of its normal capacity.

- Necessary prior appointment to use it (establishment of turns).

- Cleaning and disinfection before its opening every day.

- Cleaning and disinfection at least 3 times per day of the pool area, contact surfaces (door handles or handrails) and toilets/cloakrooms

- Signposting with the health and safety measures.

- Limitation of spaces in the pool area to guarantee security distance between users (2 meters minimum), putting signs in the floor.

- It is not possible to use the showers in the cloakrooms or the water sources.

Hi

I have just heard that the capacity for Community Swimming Pools has increased to 75% capacity in our New Normal Phase 4

Do any one know if any of the other regulations have been relaxed ie Bookings of a appointments to swim, Time limit of stay, owners clothing in a plastic bag etc or do these stay the same for the time being.

Thank You

David

Yes, we've been told by our Administrators that the rules have been relaxed. No booking system and basically controlled by users. Sanitising / cleaning only once in the morning, gel available for users, towels etc to lay on so don't lay on grass / tiles, no ball games etc, 1.5 metres distancing and no jumping into the pool. Nothing else was mentioned.
