Depends if you get a jobsworth at the checkpoints. Last lockdown it was you can only go to lidl as its the nearest. Then it was you cant go to nerja at all. One semi large shop in frigiliana and the others are tiny front room types ones. Butchers that hardly have anything in at the best of time same for the bakers . Very little decent fresh fruit. No fresh milk. When ever ive looked. So if you like processed meat magdalenas and uht milk you are ok lol.

The law says you can go for food stuffs you cant get in your area but as normal thats totally down to interpretation.

Loads of traffic going up and down yesterday. No different to normal. Some old neighbours who have moved to torrox came up and down twice to collect their campavan that they had left in the street. Prob claimed they were moving if stopped although it was weeks ago.

I'm not surprised elusive. I don't think they want people travelling from the hotspots and that weekend is a big holiday here.

Current Travel restrictions

Bearing in mind it is currently forbidden to travel inter -municipality.
Where are the endless "Pelatons" of brightly- coloured cyclists going?

I think they are on the point of pushing their luck too far.

I have a friend who lives in Fuengirola, a stone's throw from the Miramar centre which is within the municipality of Mijas. She has to get her car out and go down to the centre of Fuengirola to do her shopping.

Efforts were made to have Fuengirola and Mijas treated as one municipality as far as travel restrictions were concerned to no avail.

I know the area very well but would find it difficult to differentiate exactly which was which.

I think basically the boundary is the N340 at least where the Miramar centre is.

There is pedestrian access to get from one side to the other and they had some kind of uniformed Stazi preventing people from using it.

What are the current rules please on car and a passenger (Granada Province).?

Does the passenger have to be in the back even if you are in the same household?

I'm not aware of any restrictions so long as you stay within the municipality.

If you read the official publication by the Junta about the restrictions, there is no reference to restrictions on the number of people in private cars.

As predicted by many on this forum the medidas preventivas have been extended to 10th December on account of the puente. Looks like all of Andalucia is now Level 4 (grade 1) with the the exception being a zone east and north east of Málaga which is Level 3. Is that the general understanding or are there further exceptions?

Judging by the infection rate on the Costa Noroeste (600+ per 100,000) I'm hoping that these extended measures will finally get this rate down. Thankfully hospital admission rates remain low.

Saludos

Then extend it to cover Christmas, then the coming of the Kings, then Easter etc, etc? Unless more people join those who are already demonstrating this is going to go on for ever.

By the way I think the BOJA takes precedence over some Fakebook page which is probably written by a lowly functionario who has even less clue about what is going on in the real world than the government has.

I have checked Spanish online media and they all list the restrictions but no mention of the number of passengers or where one should sit in a vehicle.

Daft rule for a household bubble of two . Sleep together but cannot travel together in the front. Of course it is aimed at those that give lifts and are mixing with other folk. Also easier to police.
