New Alcohol Hours

Does the new " Covid" rule about alcohol not being served between 18.00h and 22.00h, also apply to actually "drinking" alcohol?
If not; all the punters need to do is: at around 17.35h order enough drinks to last the next two hours :

It means that bars and restaurants have to physicaly cloes between 18.00 - 20.00 hrs, so if you order a dozen pints at 17.30, you only have half an hour to drink them. No problem

As I understand it: the bars & restaurants are not closing for those two hours; they will be open but they simply will not be allowed to serve alcohol.In fact,I read this morning that plain-clothes police will be randomly monitoring it....no doubt wearing gabardine trench-coats and false moustaches!

Bars and restaurants have to close, its cafes that can stay open but not for serving alchohol.

No booze consumption even if bought before 18.00, Coffee and ice cream and very little else as i understand.

Hostelaria are those that don't meet the tax codes on their licence. The owners will know exactly what that means
