Solar grants

Postby olive » Wed Aug 07, 2024 1:32 pm

Update . We had Solar installed three years ago. Our installer applied for theappropriate grants.

Since then we have had one update from the Junta. “ application is stillin hand. Bad news, the original chest of money has gone. Good news, there is a new chest that your application could be covered by”

Then 8 days ago , they contacted our installer for three pieces of additional information. If not supplied within 10 days your application will beclosed.

First is a declaration that there is no economic activity at the premises.
Second is a certificate from the catastral office
Third is a recent electric bill and the CUPS info.

Our installer is convinced it is just a way theycan reduce the pile of applications with thebulk of money ( EU recovery fund?) having gone to solarfarms and big businesses with their own dedicatedgrants clerk. The timing is no accident in my view. Everyone is onholiday. We are in the UK o the catastral certificate was a huge but overcome challenge!

Shall we open a book on the outcome of our grant application…………

Indeed , the excitement level is just one out of 100

Forgot to say it took about a man day to figure out and produce the requirement plus actually spending about 30 euros to get the catastral document. Oh and a bucket of angst.

Hi Sid

They were :
A recent copy of our electric bill

A certificado del Registro de la Propiedad

A signed declaration that there is no economic activity associated with the property.

The catastral certificate is titled Registro de la Propiedad de Loja. Finca No xxxxxx
Datos, Titularidad, Nota Simple. Four pages in total

Thanks for that. It will be useful in the years to come when they eventually get round to my grant!
