Need to obtain information re debt via Bank of Spain Portal

I have been told by my bank that their is a mortgage in my name registered with CIBRE (Bank of Spain).
I am trying to investigate but finding it tricky.

The website states:
"Para solicitar su informe vía web debe acceder a la aplicación "Petición de informes y Reclamaciones CIR" disponible en el apartado "Tramitación".

Es imprescindible disponer de firma digital o certificado electrónico emitido por Prestadores de Servicios de Certificación (PSC) admitidos por el Banco de España. Los certificados aceptados pueden consultarse en el apartado "Otra información de interés"

I dont have a digital signature or electronic certificate and am not finding it easy to understand how to get one of these.

Any help much appreciated.

obtain a Digital Signature is very straight forward.............Use your Chrome browser on Windows

pop the above Link into Chrome Browser ...........select English



Download the Recommended Software

Have to hand ........and fill in details.

NIE
Surname
Email Address

Print off the Notificacions FNMT Page from the email that has the Unique ID Number

Look up where your nearest Local Office is located......beware that the List may/is not be up to date so have a second location to hand
Ours is located in the Town Hall
I took copies of Passport, Green Form, NIE..........None of these were needed !........pre-Brexit days
They only needed Passport and the Printed email page.......no copies made at the office
Sign a Form keeping a copy and come away. They will Email the next part of the Application Procedure.

Fire up your Chrome browser and Follow link that is in this email

I used same Email address for both our applications.

Install your shiny new Digital Signature/s and check its in "Manage Certificates"... (Chrome)

Check it works by going to ...........

NOW BACKUP your Certificate/s........Give a meaningful name and Password......
Make at least three Copies and locate on different systems/Media

Copy one to Google drive, goto your second device (if you have one) and Import on Chrome Browser.........check it's loaded ok.

You should be alright. It’s actually very straightforward and requires a lot less paperwork than usual.

Did you have a mortgage at one time? It’s necessary to officially cancel it and process the right paperwork not just stop paying it. Maybe that’s what it’s about.

Its not related to mortgage. I have solved the problem as it seems that lease / renting contracts for cars are registered with Bank of Spain which I didn't reilase. In any case when my son is here end of August makes sense to get myself digital signature organised.
