Rabies antibody certificate requirement?

I am aware of the need for tapeworm treatment before taking a dog into UK but is a rabies antibody certificate also required when entering from Spain?

With a Spanish EU Pets passport you will be fully up to date on the Rabies.

If driving over there is a time window for the Tapeworm treatment. See above link.

We have stopped taking the dogs over from UK as the Procedure has changed for Non-Residents and is expensive.
