I know this fiesta is on 16 and 17 October this year but does anyone know what time it starts each day and what it is like?

Gavilan, did you ever get any info? SUR shows it as on 14th & 15th October but would love to know what time events start and if it's worth going to.

Yes, just got back from visiting the village and asking for info at Town Hall ... just as well as they have changed the dates!!! its now on 21 and 22 October ... and I was given the programme for each day ... although not a lot means anything to me so have no idea of quality/interest etc! eg 'demostracion de cetreria' ... actuacion de danza oriental ... concierto grupo khairkan ... as the village is celebrating its Muslim roots I am assuming that events will have some connection with that ... but round here ... anything could happen!

But each day starts at 11 am and there seem to be events every hour or half hour and the last event starts at 10pm ... and as its a very small village ... might even see you there (will have daughter and grand-daughter with me, one with red/gold hair, the other small and dark!)

We went last year and, to be honest, found it very disappointing´as not really relating to Moorish past at all.

Dont go by the times on the leaflets - add at least 90 minutes to each!
