It's reassuring that ITV continues to provide high quality, cutting edge documentaries of this kind. They really get to the heart of issues and topics in a transparent way that get behind the surface

I think the Channel 4 programme, Selling Houses Abroad, was a bit more like the real Spain.

Don´t you think that most of us would be too embarrassed to appear in a programme like Marbella Belles? Clearly these Essex ladies were proud to share their lifestyles with someone like me who was mesmerised (or daft) to actually watch them! Life in Alora leaves so much to be desired!

I agree with the comments, but the sad fact is, and we probably all know this, is that there are lots and lots of people out there who will have watched the programme, been envious, and aspire to be like that. That is why it was made.

I could only watch 10 minutes, and we had to switch it off.

There are two threads running on this I have just posted on the other one. You would think the moderator would merge them wouldn't you. Supposing there is a moderator :?: :!:

Dido, it was on last night on ITV at 10pm, it was so cringeworthy, nearly as bad as Borat, now that was bad!
I think it is on for 6 weeks.

I feel an Essex joke coming on.

I was leafing through my copy of The Ongar Gazette recently and spoted an item about Ongar library being under funded and unable to replace it's stock of books. The editor must have been a John Osborne aficianado for the headline read:-

"Book Lack In Ongar"

Tuesdays ITV 10pm. 5 more to cringe thru.

OH said she fancied more prominent lips like what the Belles had. My mate Trev said a punch in the gob usually does the trick.
