Renault Kangoo 4x4 or Peugeot Partner

Postby oscarposcar » Sun Mar 25, 2007 8:44 pm

Anyone got any opinions on these cars? We need a high car preferably with 4x4 (for the odd muddy day) but would rather avoid the Jap/Korean 4x4s...

We've got a diesel Kangoo 4x4. Had it since July last year, and it's been brilliant. Gets us home (3Km dirt track) every time, it's economical, it will carry loads of stuff, and I can park it. We regularly hired a Peugeot Partner when we were holidaying, but I don't think they do a 4x4 in it. Other than that, it was fine, but if you want a 4x4 Kangoo is great

We were given a partner as a free upgrade last year. We liked it. Bags of room. It's a bit bland if you are looking for a bit of style though.

Hi Alison

Does your kangoo only have one rear door? That is what we were told this morning which is annoying as with 2 small kids we need 2 doors....

It's only got one rear passenger door (double doors on the back), but there is a model - I think it's the extreme - which has normal doors. Not sure whether it's available in diesel. www.autoscout24.es has lots of different models for sale, a lot of them with pictures.

Thanks for that.

VW Caddy too low for our track... from what i can see the Peugeot and Renault are the highest of the 'furgonetas'. Think we might go for the Partner.
