that may be the translation of the name, I believe it is in Cartama ? from what I gather the different plates are priced ...bit like the shushi bars with coloured plates ?

Thanks

If its the one I'm thinking of, it is called El Tintero...we call it the "plate place" as waiters carry hands full of different dishes around shouting out at the top of their voices what they have to offer....it is a real experience not to be missed. The place is huge and will seat about 1000 people. It is only open on a Sunday lunchtime but get there early to get a seat!

They keep your plates on the table and add up your bill by the size of the piles of plates you have :D

Just looked at the website.........

I don't know if i would fancy that, it seems a lot of shouting just to get some food, I could see fights happening in there.

You couldnt be more wrong :D A group of us went and had a great meal and there was a fantastic atmosphere.
I used to be indecisive but now I´m not so sure.

You are right Val...the one at Cartama is a meat venue...the other one is a fish venue. Both called El Tintero.
