The Queens hotel, Gibraltar was established in 1966. It described itself as "Gibraltar's only budget hotel".
Located at the end of Main Street near the famous Trafalgar Cemetery and Gibraltar’s cable car.
The hotel's restaurant which had panoramic views across Gibraltar Rock. The spacious bar and lounge area features wooden beamed ceilings and traditional brick archways.
It closed in June 2014 after being bought out by the Gibraltar Government to make way for the new Theatre Complex, which will include the new Queen’s Cinema.
All rooms have air-conditioning and private bathrooms with a hairdryer and a selection of toiletries.
