Monte Castillo Golf hotel
Luxury golf hotel outside the city but near the airport, with excellent sports and business facilities.
This five-star hotel is situated on the Monte Castillo golf course, on the road from Jerez to Arcos de la Frontera (A382) and handily located for the airport; guests can enjoy free unlimited rounds on the 18-hole course designed by Jack Nicklaus, which has hosted the Volvo Masters. It's also very close to the Jerez Formula One Motor Racing Circuit, used for Motorcycle Grand Prix (Moto GP) every April.
The imposing hotel, a classic building of white and yellow, has 121 rooms and suites, some with terraces, all with free WIFI and satellite TV. There are also villas with self-catering facilities. The style of the décor is clean and classic, with neutral colours, terracotta floors and print-fabric furnishings.
For those not interested in improving their swing, there are three outdoor swimming pools (including one for children), tennis and padel courts as well as a gym. If you're not an exercise fan, the well-equipped spa will keep you happy. In hydrotherapy circuit, you can enjoy bubble beds, a cold-water spring, cascades and neck jets; there is also a sauna and steam bath, treatments rooms and heated loungers.
For dining, there is a formal restaurant serving international and Spanish cuisine, and a bar serving snacks and drinks. The popular all-inclusive rates include a buffet dinner. Meeting facilities can cater for up to 400 people, in 16 different rooms.
