Music and Dance Festivals in Andalucia

There are usually hundreds of music and dance festivals taking place in Andalucia every year, especially in the summer.

The festivals cover every genre from rock, pop, indie, folk, blues and jazz to classical and flamenco. Some of these, mostly those offering jazz, classical or flamenco, are well-established and have been taking place for many years, while others - generally pop and dance music - are relatively new.

On this page we give an overview of the more important and established festivals or series of concerts which are likely to be held every year around the same dates. In addition to the list below, there many one-off concerts and summer series concerts taking place and promoted in all but the smallest towns and villages; too many to list.

We also list the most well-known Flamenco Festivals and the traditional summer ferias

We update this page with future dates as soon as annountcements are made.

Due to the nature of the open air all-seated venue, with appropriate measures, the Starlite Festival in Marbella and the Granada Festival of Music and Dance are able to continue in 2021 as they did in Summer 2020.
