Nagüeles district of Marbella

Nagüeles is a district of Marbella correctly titled  Rocio de Nagüeles located mainly on the upper side of the A-7 coastal ¨motorway where it by-pass of Marbella. It comprises of a many well established villas in leafy gently sloping roads with mature trees.  There are several more recently developed appartment blocks.   It is bounded to the north by Avenida Buchinger and mainly to the south by the by-pass. Having said that the bypass cut the district into two parts north and south when it was built in the early 1990's.

Marbella - Golden Mile Sierra Districts

The Golden Mile Sierra (Blanca) district refers to the area above the Marbella 'Golden Mile' and on the lower slopes of the Sierra Blanca mountain range above the A-7 and AP-7 highway. It is bordered on the west by the Rio Real and to the east by the Arroyo Guadalpin valley and Monte Pariaso Golf course. This district is not adjacent to the Golden Mile so it is probabably mis-named by the real estate industry, however the 'golden Mile' in the name does locate the district  for its longitudinal position along the coast.

Marbella - Golden Mile Mountainside Districts

Plaza Bocanegra. The copper-clad tower in the centre is often mistakenly called the Bronze Tower. Its true name is El Pirulí and it was designed by architect Barrios Cepedano, commissioned in the mid-1990s by mayor Jesús Gil.
