Sunland International School

Sunland International School opened in September 2001 on a spacious countryside campus close to Cartama Estacion, near Málaga University and the Scientific and Technological Park of Andalucia. The School is no more than 25 minutes from eastern and central Málaga, Torremolinos, Benalmádena-Costa, Churriana, Alhaurin, Pizarra or Coin.

Sunland offers an international curriculum, and will seek authorisation to offer the Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP) and IB Diploma Programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organisation. English is the primary language of instruction, plus Spanish language and other courses in line with Ministry of Education guidelines. The School offers Early Years and Primary classes for 3 to 9 year olds, expanding annually to include the middle and secondary years. Well qualified teachers, mainly from the UK and Spain, ensure high quality teaching with an emphasis on the individual development of each student. The curriculum includes Information Technology, Music, Drama, Dance, Sports and Swimming. A variety of optional extracurricular activities take place after school.

St Georges School

St Georges School opened in September 2000 it is a Co-Educational International School for ages 3-18 years, with a broad curriculum offering high quality education. The School is situated in beautiful landscape on a hillside close to the city centre. It is a British School belonging to the National Association of British Schools, all teachers are native English speakers, to facilitate maximum learning. The school offers a host of cultural and extra curricular activities to support and increase the growth of the students, including excursions, exhanges and thematic events.

The school is divided into two sections: The Foundation Years site and the Primary and Secondary school.The school has excellent specialist facilities. There are three science laboratories, a library, special needs rooms, music room, a well-equipped information technology centre, two gymnasiums and an art room. The school runs a bus from areas all over Malaga province making it thoroughly accessible. A school uniform is compulsory and a full sports kit.

There is also the opportunity to attend St Georges in Summer courses, to learn in a fun yet formal environment, the days are filled with academic activities, and two hours of sport each day.
