Fiona Flores Watson has lived in Spain for nine years, and has been a journalist since completing a post-graduate journalism course at City University in London 20 years ago. As well as her twice-weekly blog and other regular features for Andalucia.com, Fiona writes freelance articles for newspapers, magazines and websites including Conde Nast Traveller, the Sunday Times, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Red Online, Concierge.com and the Weekly Telegraph; she also contributes to various Spanish websites.

Fiona lives near Seville with her Spanish engineer husband and their two Anglo-Andalusi children. Over the years, Fiona has written about many topics including travel; business and marketing; motoring and technology; design and art. More recently, in Spain, her interests and experiences have led her to write features on the region’s fiestas and cultural events; beaches and monuments; hotels, restaurants and bars; as well as pregnancy, giving birth, and bringing up children here, and living in Spain as an expat working mother. Fiona is a keen user of Social Media, and has an unhealthy addiction to her iPhone.
