2026 edition
The Sierra Sur Ecofestival will celebrate its 2026 edition on 10 and 11 October 2026 at the Área Recreativa de Arroyomolinos (known locally as "La Playita") in Zahara de la Sierra, situated in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. Designed as an eco-conscious, family-friendly alternative to large urban macro-festivals, the event limits capacity (capped around 2,500 attendees) to preserve its intimate atmosphere amidst nature. In addition to live acoustic, rock, pop, and fusion performances, the festival offers active tourism activities—including kayaking, ziplining, paddle surfing, and workshops—alongside local gastronomy and children's entertainment.
The confirmed lineup for the 2026 edition of the Sierra Sur Ecofestival features a diverse mix of national talent, blending rock, pop, fusion, and singer-songwriter styles. Headlining the weekend are the multicultural rhythms of Macaco and the veteran rock energy of Seguridad Social, alongside the elegant pop-rock of Elefantes led by their frontman Shuarma. The nature-immersed gathering will also highlight an array of acclaimed acts including Pedro Pastor, Mario Díaz, Miguel Company, Gato Ventura, Awakate, Sonido Vegetal, Mesalla, Torre de Cera, and Chiveca, completing a soundtrack designed to perfectly complement the outdoor setting.
2025 edition
2025 is the third edition of the festival 11th and 12th October 2025., and the first confirmations are Miguel Campello, Aslanditicos, Colectivo Panamera and Elioht. The festival is organised by NoSinMusica.
Sierra Sur Eco Festival is a more family oriented festival including workshops, activities, games etc, and is located at the Area Recreativa de Arroyomolinos, 4km south of Zahara de la Sierra within the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. There is ample day parking at the recreation centre itself and a shuttle bus (long queues) to visit the village. Camping and overnight parking is prohibited in the park. You will need to find accomodation in Ronda or nearby villages. Tickets for both days are Adults 50€, Children 20€ and parking 20€. Caravans will only be able to park closer to the village.
The Arroyomolinos Recreational Area is located right at the foot of the Monte Prieto mountain range, just 300 metres from the Cueva del Susto, next to the Zahara reservoir, in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. It is a large space between orchards and fruit trees, with an area of 63,362 m2, where the course of the river has been used to create a small artificial beach and where, especially in the summer months, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the site and area. The water temperature of reservoir is ideal for swimming.
2024 edition
Confirmed for 2024 were headline artists Macaco, Miguel Campello, La Guardia, Aslandticos and supported by Colectivo Panamera, Javypablo, Nya de la Rubio, La Jungla Band, La Perra Blanco, Maeminerva, Elioth. Sierra Sur Eco Festival in Zahara de la Sierra was to take place on the 11th and 12th October Unfortunately after six months of dry weather the 2024 event coincided with sever thunderstorms and had to be cancelled.
2023 edition
In 2023 on Fri 13th and Sat 14th the artists performing were Kanka, Raule, Elefantes, Varry Brava trio, Mr Kilombo, Nena Daconte, Jordana B, Javi Medina, El Sombrero del Abualo, Comandante Twin, Jesus Bienvenido y the Agapornis and Danie.
