As always in the hot months of the Andalucian summer, the cultural programme in Seville moves outside and into the sultry late night. Here are some of the best events taking place in Seville this summer - outdoors, long after the sun has set, in historic settings. All types of musical groups in the magical jasmine-scented gardens of this Mudejar-Renaissance palace, every night during the summer - from baroque, jazz, classical to flamenco.

Nocturama - Centro de Andaluz de Arte Contemporaneo - till 6 September.
Contemporary music in the gardens of La Cartuja Monastery; Wednesday to Saturday.

21 Degrees Season CICUS
21 Degrees Season CICUS

21 Degrees Season - CICUS (University of Seville) - till 30 August.
Film, theatre, concerts, exhibitions... Classic films included.

Noches de la Buhaira - till 8 September.
Theatre and concerts (jazz, flamenco, opera, Portuguese fado) in the gardens of this Moorish palace; also puppet shows and plays for children.
