Granada Bus Station
Granada Bus Station is situated on Avenida de Juan Pablo II, in the north west of the city about 3km from city centre. it is the only bus station in Granada having replaced the older 'Camino de Ronda' station in 1995.
The metropolitan (urban) red bus line numbers 5, 33 and 21 go from outside the bus station to different parts of the city. There is a metro stop outside the bus station.

Local Bus to Alhambra
. If you want to catch the bus to the Alhambra you will need to take three buses so it is probably best to take a taxi; at least to Plaza Isabel Catholica then walk or take the C30 Micro bus to the Alhambra (see below).
Three bus route to Alhambra. Walk 3 mins to Sol y Sombra, take bus N4 to Cruz del Sur, then bus LAC from Cruz de Sur to Marqués de Falces. Walk down Gran Via to Plaza Isabel Catholica. From here take C30 Micro bus up to Alhambra. Allow an hour to an hour and a half for the journey plus the time to collect Alhambra tickets and walk down to the palace entrance.
An alternative is to take the metro (tram) from outside bus station (single 1.55€ day ticket 4.50€ purchased on the metro station ticket machine) to Recogidas. Walk up Calle Recogidas to to Plaza Isabel Catholica From here take C30 micro bus up to Alhambra.From here take C30 Micro bus up to Alhambra.
The C30 Micro bus runs regularly from the city centre (Plaza Isabel Catholica) and stops at the Alhambra ticket office. Fare is 1.40€, which you pay to the driver. City Bus Route Map in PDF

Bus station Facilities
The upper entrance level has the ticket offices and the main departure board.
The lower level has the departure waiting area and the 28 platforms. there is also a cafe, souvenier shop, toilets and vending machines.
Left Luggage lockers
The left luggage lockers are on the lower level. They are supervised by an attendant from 09.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 19.00. A medium size locker that fits a large rucksack or small suitcase costs 3.50€.

There is a taxi rank outside the bus station.
