Granada Bus Station

Granada Bus Station is situated on Avenida de Juan Pablo II, in the north west of the city about 3km from city centre.  it is the only bus station in Granada having replaced the older 'Camino de Ronda' station in 1995.

The metropolitan (urban) red bus line numbers 5, 33 and 21 go from outside the bus station to different parts of the city. There is a metro stop outside the bus station.

Bus Timetables

There a many services operating out of this bus Station: Metropolitan, and Long Distance buses which travel over-night.

Bus to Alhambra

The metropolitan (urban) bus numbers 5, 33 and 21 go from the bus station to different parts of the city.  if you want to catch the bus to the Alhambra you will need to take three buses so probably best to take a taxi at least to Plaza Isabel Catholica.  If not walk 3 mins to Sol y Sombra, take bus N4 to Cruz del Sur, then bus LAC from Cruz de Sur to Marqués de Falces. Walk down Gran Via to Plaza Isabel Catholica. From here take C30 micro bus up to Alhambra. Allow an hour to an hour and a half for the journey plus the time to collect Alhambra tickets and walk down to the palace entrance. An alternative is to take the metro (tram) outside bus station (single 1.55€ day ticket 4.50€ purchased on the metro station) to Recogidas. Walk up calle Recogidas to to Plaza Isabel Catholica

From here take C30 micro bus up to Alhambra.

The C30 bus runs regularly from the centre (Plaza Isabel Catholica) and stops at the ticket office. Fare is 1.40€, which you pay to the driver. City Bus Route Map in PDF
