Pozoblanco Golf Course
This was Andalucía's first municipal course, constructed in 1984. Before this villagers played golf on a grass-less circuit. The course follows the natural contours of Cabeza Oliva nature reserve. The fairways are bordered by cork, pine and cypresses.
It is a flat course 3,020 metres long, and has an abundance of old oak trees and dark olive trees. Other obstacles to negotiate are bunkers and water features. The fairways are planted with indigenous grass.
Practice facilities include a driving range, golf lessons and a putting green.

Directions: take the Córdoba-Badajoz road and turn off to the right towards Alcaracejos-Almadén. Past Alcaracejos go right to Pozoblanco taking the by-pass towards Canaleja. The course is 3 kilometres from Pozoblanco. Map
