Activities

A variety of water sports are available, such as diving, boating and yachting. Fishing is also popular as there is a fishing harbour, where the main local catch is tuna. It is located just an hour and a half drive from the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort, where one can enjoy activities such as skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, cycling, hiking and canoeing. 

Marina

There is also a marina and yacht club in Almerimar where sailing and yachting lessons are available for those who wish to learn.

Golf

Almerimar features its own stunning 18-hole golf course with first class facilities, hire of clubs, buggies, golf shop, restaurant and bar.

How To Get There

Taking the N-340a and exit number 439a, take the A-7 motorway towards El Ejido. Take exit number 409 from the A-7 to get onto the A-389, which will take you to your destination.
