There are many fountains located throughout the town. When they were built, they were intended to provide a source of water before running water facilities existed. Today, they serve as water troughs for animals and meeting points for people. The fountains give the town a natural feel, enveloping the atmosphere in a sense of freshness, rest and tranquillity.
