Torre de Hércules Los Barrios
The Torres de Hércules building is a modern business center located in the industrial area of Las Marismas of the Palmones River, in the town of Los Barrios, Cádiz, Spain. Standing at 126 meters tall (including its antenna), it became the tallest building in Andalusia upon its inauguration in 2009, holding that title until 2012 when it was surpassed by Torre Sevilla.
Designed by Spanish architect Rafael de La-Hoz Castanys (Córdoba, 1955), a key figure in contemporary architecture, the complex stands out for its innovative design made up of two twin towers connected together, symbolizing the mythical Pillars of Hercules—an ancient reference to the Strait of Gibraltar.
Today, the Torres de Hércules are over 15 years old and have established themselves as an architectural and business landmark in the Campo de Gibraltar area. Their strategic location, close to the Port of Algeciras—one of the most important ports in Europe—makes them a key hub for both national and international companies.
A symbol of modernity, design, and growth in southern Spain.
