This year they are Tallinn (Estonia) and Turku (Finland). Each year, one or more European cities display the title "European Capital of Culture".

You may have noticed I've been a bit quiet about the Setas/acampada Sevilla/15M of late.

I started my Spanish adventure around three weeks ago, just four days after my final second-year exam at university, where I’m studying Marketing & Public Relations.

Andalucia isn't short of ferias (each town's annual party) and fiestas (other celebrations) - there are plenty every month throughout the year.

Yesterday was World Environment Day (WED), or Dia Mundial del Medio Ambiente here in Spain. (The previous week, it was World No Tobacco Day - surely not a coincidence?)

Since we had some welcome positive news about Andalucia's economy today - unemployment in the region fell in May - I thought I'd do a happy post, about trees and flowers.
