The home of high-end brands in Andalucia is Marbella, and more specifically Puerto Banus. Gucci, Prada, Loewe, Versace – they’re all there.
Famous Spanish designers who have their own stores include:
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada (bold and colourful), Purificacion Garcia (minimal and elegant), Adolfo Domínguez (funky but wearable), Antonio Pernas (simple colour palette) and Angel Schlesser (glam), while Hoss Intropia has interesting avant-garde pieces. Most of them make accessories, such as wallets, bags and sunglasses, if you budget doesn’t stretch to the full outfit.
El Caballo in Seville sells horse-riding clothes and equipment, including the elegant amazona skirts – long, plain pieces for riding side-saddle.
Many Andalucian cities have boutiques selling clothes by a range of designers, both Spanish and international.
