Casares Golf
Set within a residential development of the same name, the course offers magnificent views of both mountains and the sea. It was designed by architect Juan Carlos Martínez, from Bilbao, and is laid out over 4,476 metres with a mixture of Par-3, 4 and 5 holes.
Be careful of the wind and the lake when setting out on the 1st hole, which finishes at a green protected by two deep bunkers. The 7th, a Par 5, is the longest and perhaps the most challenging: the second shot has to be directed between a long lake that runs up to the green and the outer boundary, then another lake awaits you just beyond the green.
