Museo Municipal “Casa Alpujarreña”
The municipal museum was built close to the time of the re-conquest. It is a typical Alpujarra house furnished and decorated as such. It was a family home but became empty when they emigrated and only came to stay for short periods of time until they sold it to the Town Hall. It was converted into a museum with a collection of old objects and belongings from the residents of Bubión who wanted to donate them for the museum. Here we can find everything from an old bed to farming implements, tools for making wine, old tables, pots, plates, etc. Located in Plaza de la Iglesia.
