Iglesia Parroquial Virgen del Rosario
The church was founded in the sixteenth century, but was rebuilt in the seventeenth century. It was destroyed by earthquakes in the nineteenth century and its current structure was rebuilt later. According to the “Reconstruction Project for the Parish Church of Bubión”, preserved in the Parish Archive of Capileira, the roof was rebuilt in 1954. Its structure was rebuilt in 1992. The church has a rectangular floor plan in the shape of a box, with the main entrance at its foot and a more recent access point through the vestry. The nave is divided into four sections according to the arrangement of the side niches. The main nave is covered by a modern framework, and the main chapel has a flat end wall with a groined vault. It is located in Plaza de la Iglesia.
