CAÑONES
The town has four cannons. The oldest is located at the entrance to the town and, according to legend, was used against the French. It is situated on a viewing point overlooking the Moorish Castle. The second cannon guards the entrance to the Town Hall. Dating to the 18th century, it is a naval cannon that was donated by the admiral in charge of the maritime zone of the Strait and installed on 20 October 2000. The third cannon is located next to the Lanjarón River, backing up our natural border. Built in the 20^(th) century, it was recently installed. The fourth cannon is situated at the Mirador del Visillo and was donated by the MADOC Army. It marks the end of the municipality.
