Museo Arqueológico Monográfico de Cástulo
The rooms of this museum present the history of the ancient Ibero-Roman city from Prehistory until well into the Middle Ages. The continuous excavations that are being carried out at the site mean that the collection is undergoing constant expansion. Its genesis as a museum is due to the enterprising initiative of Rafael Contreras de la Paz, concerned about the constant looting that the ancient city of Cástulo was suffering. Located on Calle General Echagüe.
