There are various Bullfighting museums that the aficionado can visit in Andalucia. They contain photographs and prints of famous bullfighters from history. Old costumes are on display (sometimes showing the damage following a memorable fight).



Assorted memorabilia can be viewed. Much of the material is more of interest to those who have followed the sport for years and can remember particularly brave matadors and bulls. Where were you when the great Manolete died in the ring in Linares on August 28th in 1947?

This magnificent bullring is considered to be one of the finest in Spain and is one of the oldest and most important in the world. Although many of the younger generation in Spain abhor the sport, it remains phenomenally popular, especially in Seville, and the 'Catedral del Toreo' is the perfect place to experience the electric atmosphere of a corrida (bullfight). more>
