Further Education

There are plenty of opportunities for further education in Andalucia. Logically, most of them provide all tuition in Spanish. However, there are also numerous opportunities to study in English in this part of the world. And these opportunities are growing with the tourist industry and as more and more English speaking residents raise children in this area and demand such services.

The Andalusian economy is lead by the tourist industry, which has given rise to various training programmes for those wishing to work in this sector. Certificate and degree programmes can be found at universities in this region as well as at municipal, regional and international hospitality, culinary arts and hotel management schools. All of these programmes place heavy emphasis on English and some are given entirely in English with the requirement that students learn one, two more other languages as well.

In addition to tourism-related courses, there is a growing number of opportunities to study in English for other professions, such as interior design and architecture, two professions which are in great demand as the real estate and home decoration markets are also leading forces in this area's economy.
