La Zagaleta - Los Barrancos
If you are invited to play this strictly private, 18-hole course, the second at La Zagaleta, accept immediately. Nestling in the mountains of the Serranía de Ronda and blending in perfectly with the natural environment, it was created by moving two million cubic metres of rock and earth and constructing a tunnel to reach the new clubhouse.
Traditional type bunkers are strategically placed and the course, with its rolling fairways, also provides many opportunities to hit the ball way over the protected barrancos, or gullies, to the large undulating greens beyond.
