Cámaron de la Isla

Supposedly the greatest flamenco singer ever, Camarón de la Isla was considered to be the gypsy god of flamenco and his effigy is respected in a somewhat religious manner. This legendary great of flamenco history had the kind of image that the younger generation could associate with, a young gypsy rebel who was the first flamenco of rock star status.

Playa Fontanilla

Playa Fontanilla is a beach located to the west of Marbella Marina - the Marbella Puerto Deportivo. The beach is approximately 1km long. It backs onto the paseo maritimo which has multiple facilities; it is full of restaurants, cafés and shops. This beach offers a wide variety of water sports, including jet skis.

Necropolis Cerillo de las Sombras

Castillo del Aguila (Eagle’s Castle) in Gaucin

Castillo del Aguila (Eagle's Castle) in the Moorish hilltown of Gaucin, consists of a series of fortifications built across a rocky ridge above the village. The castle, which is of Roman origin, and was reinforced by the Moors, is located on top of a hill whose east and south slopes are practically impregnable; the best way to reach this magnificent, historic building is by walking up Calle Larga.
