Ronda Road - La Quinta golf

The La Quinta Golf complex comprises three nine-hole courses and the five-star Westin La Quinta hotel plus  numerous developments of villas, townhouses and apartments.

The origins of Grupo Inmobiliario La Quinta date back to the end of the 1980's, when Tomás Pascual, founder of the Pascual Corporation acquired land for the construction of a golf course in Marbella and began a series of real estate initiatives in the area. Following a few years of land management collaboration with Inmobiliario Bilbao, Grupo Inmobiliario La Quinta was founded in 1992 to directly manage the properties. The company has developed more than 1,000 homes in a residential complex of over 160 Hectares.

Until 2016 Manuel Piñero (Multiple European Tour champion and captain of the Spanish men's golf team at the Rio Olympics) was the main pro golfer attached to La Quinta. It is also renowned as a resort featuring many stylish and unique contemporary-designed villas.

The main access to La Quinta is on the right-hand side of the Ronda road just before the motorway over bridge for the San Pedro tollway entrance. The access road is a little untidy at first but don't be put off:when you cross the motorway bridge into the estate proper, the aesthetics improve.

To reach Urb. Los Balcones turn left once you have crossed over the motorway. The golf club has a modern clubhouse and restaurant with views over the course, and an underground parking.

Continue along the access road for Urb. El Mirador, Urb, Los Arcos, Urb. La Quinta Hills, Buena Vista de la Quinta and Alta de la Quinta.
