2018 Elections
In September 2018 ahead of the December Andalucia regional elections the Izquierda Unida Los Verdes joined with Podemos Andalucia lead by Teresa Rodriguez to fight the elections together. Teresa Rodríguez of Podemos Andalucia was finally chosen to represent Adelante Andalucia the province of Málaga, occupying the first position on the list. Meanwhile, Antonio Maíllo, general coordinator of IULV-CA, would be in first place in the candidacy for Seville. The coalation was called Adelante Andalucia. They won 17 seats in the election and remained a party in oposition.
In February 2020, Teresa Rodríguez, together with another seven Anticapitalistas Andalucia group, left Podemos Andalucia after national leader Pablo Iglesias' refusal to develop an Andalucian Podemos party with its own group in the Congress of Deputies and give it political autonomy. This required the eight to leave the Podemos Parliamentary Group and as tránsfugas request their expulsion from the Adelante Andalucía parliamentary group.
In May 2020, Teresa Rodríguez and the Anticapitalistas Andalucía party integrated into Adelante Andalucía the political party (as oposed to the parliamentary group) as the fifth organization within the Adelante Andalucia unified structure.
In 2021 Izquierda Unida Los Verdes-Convocatoria por Andalucía lead by Toni Valero left the Adelante Andalucia coalition party.
