Aljibe

The cisterns are one of the most prominent features of the town; these being underground reservoirs that store water. Their age and importance have left their mark on the toponymy of the municipality, with a path named after them already appearing in 1572. Situated in the main square, this cistern is preserved, and was responsible for collecting, storing, and distributing water from the Genil and Dílar Rivers.
