Poblado Argarico de la Terrera del Reloj
This archaeological site is located between the Guadix and Baza depressions, where the Guadiana Menor and Fardes rivers converge. The landscape of the area is fascinating: a fertile plain running through river valleys, nestled between white, desert-like mountains and plateaus severely damaged by erosion. These landscapes evoke a sense of tranquillity. La Terrera del Reloj (The Clockwork Terrera) dates from the Bronze Age (4000–800 BC) and is thought to be part of the “Algar Culture”.
