Torremolinos has some enticing coffee shops and tea rooms and one of the most famous of them was the Goyesca in Calle San Miguel.
Although this delightful tea room bears a plaque stating it was founded in 1908, it has actually been in this location on Calle San Miguel since 1979.
The Goyesca has a 1940s ambience and it was a popular place during the afternoons, when locals and tourists enjoy a range of sweet delicacies typical of the province.
A multitude of tempting cakes and tarts filled with cream, marzipan, chocolate or fruit can be enjoyed with aromatic teas and an array of different coffees.
Customers could also purchase products to take-away, like biscuits, chocolates and preserves that were produced in Torremolinos.
