PLAYA DE LA REDONDELA
La Redondela Beach is located about 2 km north of the town, measuring around 1.5 km in length and is where the Kanina Rock Festival and Virgin of Hope Pilgrimage are celebrated.
The beach has become a favourite with the locals who are seeking peace and quiet. Fishing is banned as well as shell fishing or the from their environment. The beach itself does not belong to the natural area although it is protected by the INIA.
Facilities include free showers, public toilets, beach bar, lifeguard post and parking. There is a nearby campsite across the A-5054 road. In the pine forest there is a picnic area with barbecues.
The beach is also equipped with solid ramps leading down almost to the shore specifically for wheelchair users as well as certain areas of hard flooring and shade.
