PARQUE ZOOLOGICO DE JOSE CRUZ CONDE
Cordoba Zoo opened in 1967 and was one of the first official zoos in Spain. Between 2003 - 2007, the zoo went under a huge renovation and is now well-known for its research, species conservation and education.
The zoo is an urban zoological park so it is not huge, but boasts beautiful gardens and recreational areas. It is home to around 200 different species of animals, including tigers, elephants, zebras, hippos, jaguars, lemurs, llamas, bears, monkeys and reptiles just to name a few.
The zoo also has a cafe, a gift shop and toilets as well as several exhibitions.
