Alex began writing for Andalucia.com in November 2021. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2020 with a first class honours degree in Journalism. Her particular interests within writing are food, travel and music.
Alex's love for Spain first began as a child where she visited with her family for their annual Summer holiday, her affinity with the country catalysed in 2019 after she completed a semester abroad in the capital, Madrid, where she studied for 5 months as part of her degree. She currently works as a social media manager and freelances as a writer.
Alex has written on a diverse range of subject for Andalucia.com but has specialised in topics related to the Music industry and festivals including the 2022 AndaluciaBig festival and the 2023 La Cala de Mijas festival.
