Alex began writing for Andalucia.com in November 2021 after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a first class honours degree in Journalism. Her particular interests are all things lifestyle, including food, travel and music.

Alex’s love for Spain began as a child where she visited with her family on their annual summer holiday. Her affinity with the country catalysed in 2019 after she completed a semester abroad in the capital, Madrid, where she studied for 5 months as part of her degree. She currently works full time as a marketer, freelances as a writer, and runs a food blog on Instagram.

Alex loves attending live music shows and has seen almost 300 different artists live in concert at various festivals.

Alex has covered a diverse range of topics for Andalucia.com but her interest in live music has led her to specialise in topics related to the music industry and festivals including 2022 AndaluciaBig festival, and the 2023 La Cala de Mijas festival and 2024 Starlight Marbella - about the artists.
