Parque del Castillo

Parque del Castillo  (Castle Park) is the park locates on the western slopes of the castle on the seafront. It comprises 60,000 m2. There are a number of archeoligical excavations on display. The upper part of the park reaches up to the castle and there are fine views over the coast.

Parque Fluvial

The Parque Fluvial (river park) is a more recent addition and is quite impressive. It shows what can be achieved in land set aside for when the canalised river Fuengirola occasionally floods after heavy rains..

 It is located upstream of the castle and coast road and near the Miramar shopping centre on both sides of the river. It is adjacent to the skateboard park

 Parque del Sol

Parque del Sol is gated urban park located behind near the Fuengirola Bioparc and close to the Bullring. It has a small artificial stream and a cascading water features.

 

Parque de España

The Parque de España is located next to the Town Hall. It comprises 4,000 m2 and includes a children's playground and a cafe.

 

Parque de Poniente

This is a children's playground and with a large pirate ship that can be climbed on and jumped off and protected by a sponge sea. There is also a roller-skating rink and a café. It is located on the castle side of the river, cross by the footbridge.  It is located next to the zip wire that is the fun way to cross the river.

 

Parque Doña Sofía

The Doña Sofia park is 7,500m2 and located next to Poniente Park.  There is a large children's playground called Park of Fantasy whose theme is different fairy tales.
