Most hostals and hostels are located in the centre of this pueblo blanco (white village/town) town whereas apartments occupy the paseos lining the beaches. This doesn't mean to say that staying in the town's heart will jeopordise your beach holiday, quite the opposite. In Conil, whether staying in the old town or in primer linea (first line) you will most likely not be far from the stunning beach.

Cadiz is a small city, interestingly located on a peninsula meaning it is surrounded by beautiful beaches and sea. Cadiz offers many of the thrills found in a city from modern bars and restaurants to suave bars and historic monuments but is also set in an idilic coastal surrounding.

With quick and easy access from Malaga Airport, situated just outside the city, and a busy commercial port, it's no wonder that Malaga is a popular destinations for tourists and travelers alike. The city centre is located little more than 10 minutes walk from the coast where a cool drink awaits visitors at one of the many chiringuitos that line the beaches.

Despite Marbella's glamourous reputation with high class hotels and luxury experiences, there's still a vast selection of accommodation on offer at affordable prices. In the old town of Marbella many have gone about converting their properties into guest houses or hostals which offer what could be considered a more basic hotel experience.

Estepona is a rare coastal destination - one of the few towns on the Costa del Sol to have retained its character and traditional feel, despite the influx of tourism in this part of Andalucia. The casco antiguo (old town) is what you'd expect from a picturesque Andalucian town - narrow, cobbled streets lined with beautiful stone houses and plazas, and walls ablaze with vibrant colour from the large variety of flora.

Nerja is one of the last destinations on the Costa del Sol before the Costa Tropical and is situated east of Malaga City. It is one of the few destinations that has not experienced a large influx of high rise accommodation blocks, like other tourist destinations, but instead has retained a tradition Andalucian feel.

This modern two-star hostel is handy for those arriving in, or leaving, Jaen by train, as the station is next door. The old city centre is about 15 minutes’ walk away.

Almeria city offers great opportunities for those wanting to explore Andalucian coastline or venture into the Sierra Nevada national park mountain range just over an hours' drive away. Being a coastal city, ferries are available to take you across to African Algeria or Morocco where new cultures await your exploration.

Seville is a marvel. It’s a city of various diverse (and wildly beautiful) neighbourhoods: the narrow alleyways of the Barrio de Santa Cruz are lined with glorious old palaces and stunning plazas… the Alfalfa, Triana, the Macarena and Santa Catalina, meanwhile, all teem with life.
