Golfer - Miguel Angel Jimenez Golf Academy

Fifth of seven brothers, Miguel Ángel left school at 15 and worked in a garage and then at Torrequebrada Golf Club collecting golf balls on the driving range and as a caddie. After watching his idol Seve Ballesteros in the Spanish Open at Torrequebrada in 1979, Miguel Ángel was inspired to take up the game himself, turning professional in 1982.

With 23 Tour victories by the end of 2015 Miguel Ángel holds the record as the Oldest Winner on the European Tour at 50 years and 133 days when he won the Open de Espana in May 2014.

Sergio García, golfer

Sergio Garcia 29, is now in his 10th year as a professional golfer, his nickname "el niño", (the boy) still holds, even after a decade in the game. Sergio has spent much of his career in the top 10 Official World Golf Ranking. 

Theresa Zabell Lucas, Olympic sailor

Theresa was born in May 1965 in Ipswich, England. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to the Canary Islands in search of a warmer climate. They travelled to Tenerife by boat, marking Theresa's first experience with the sea. Shortly thereafter they moved again, this time to Pedregalejo, Malaga on the Costa del Sol.
