Festival de Música
Festival de Música is celebrated in July, and occupies the castle. It began in 1992 at the request of the City Council of Canena. The concerts are held on Fridays and Saturdays in the Patio de Columnas or in the Patio de Armas. The type of concert or performance is variable, from opera to jazz, with numerous bands and piano and guitar solos in between.

La Botifuera
La Botifuera is celebrated at the end of the olive harvest in October.
