Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Francisco Fernández
The Interpretation Centre exhibits the constantly changing world of experimental arts. The exhibitions are temporary and changed roughly every month, and always feature work by artists of great national and international importance. There is also a room dedicated to the photographer Francisco Fernández, containing over 500 of his works. Fernández is a prestigious professor and photographer born in Torreblascopedro in 1945, with an extensive career as a graphic collaborator and reporter and for many international newspapers such as the Boston Globe, the Framinghan News and reporter for United Press International. Currently, Torreblascopedro hosts the “Francisco Fernández National Photography Competition”, with a wide-ranging impact and the participation of Spanish and international professional photographers and artists.
