Convento de las Hermanas de la Cruz
The convent was inaugurated on October 9, 1923 in the presence of the Founding Mother, Sister Ángela de la Cruz. The Community constituted six sisters, including the superior, the Foundation being placed under the patronage and protection of San Diego de Alcalá. This was constituted in 1923 by the superior Sister Julia, by Sister Coronada (later superior of this convent), and four other Sisters. The activities of the Foundation are aimed at assisting and spiritually and materially aiding poor patients in their own homes.
