Generalife gardens of the Alhambra

After the city was conquered, the Generalife was granted by the Catholic Monarchs to the Granada Venegas family. The promenade leads to the "Patio de la Acequia" which is the most celebrated spot and the heart and soul of the palace grounds.

Botanical Garden

The hothouse has 130 plant species from the Canary Islands, divided into three areas by climate: moist such as geranium; desert plants, such as spiny and succulent (cacti and aloes); and a diverse group which includes ferns and Cycads (palms and ferns), as well as many native Spanish plants, also found in the Andalucian mountains and the Balearic islands.

In Marbella there are several parks where you can practice sports, have a pleasant walk or enjoy the peace and quiet of the natural environment.

Parks and Gardens in Estepona

ully landscaped public parks in Estepona as well as public squares adored with flowers, Seafront Promenade, Plaza de las Flores and Orchid House plaza are in the old town. El Calvario park is at the top of Calle de la Terraza. The larger parks are located in the area to the west of the old town centre; Parque Huerta Nueva, Parque del Carmen, Parque La Constitucion. Further west are Parque de los Niños, Parque La Hermandad. Parque del Seghers. Outside Estepna town are Parque Pedregales and Selwo Wildlife park. Finally above 1000m, the Sierra Bermeja mountain behind Estepona is a protected natural area.

Malaga Cathedral Gardens

This is not really a museum as such but in the Malaga Cathedral Gardens there is  a small collections of rusting iron sculptures by Jorge Rando called Museo al Aire libre de la Catedral de Málaga (Malaga Cathedral Open Air Museum)
