Independent Hotels on the Costa de la Luz

An independent hotel is one which is owned and run individually, without being part of a larger chain or company. Technically, all those which are not directly related to a hotel chain can be classed as independent.

In these types of hotels, guests can expect a more personalised style of service compared to corporately owned hotels. Moreover, staff who work in these hotels usually have specific and reliable knowledge of the local area, and can therefore offer information on the location, activities, best places to eat, and what to see and during your stay.

Located at the top of the town, the Arco de los Gigantes dates from 1585, and was built in honour of King Philip II.
